At WhispDrop, we believe that privacy is a fundamental right, not an optional feature. Our app is built from the ground up to collect the absolute minimum data necessary for operation.

We use location to show nearby messages, publish messages within a geographic radius, and improve local discovery features. Some use may occur in the background if you enable features that depend on nearby updates or notifications. We do not sell location data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

We use advanced encryption protocols to protect data during transmission (SSL/TLS). Although messages are public by nature, we protect our server infrastructure with the highest security standards.

5. Retention and Deletion

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, protect accounts, prevent abuse, or meet legal requirements. You can request account deletion from inside the app. Some limited A deletion request starts a 30-day recovery window and then permanent deletion runs automatically. Shared encrypted messages may remain with their recipients, and limited records may be retained temporarily for security, support, or compliance. If you cannot access the app, use the account deletion page to send a web deletion request.
